My grandson chose a unique setting to propose to his girlfriend. A pine forest. He packed a hamper with wine and cheese. Organised his photographer friend to dress in camouflage and hide under bracken and leaves to get a photograph of “the moment”. The resulting photo was magical with the appearance of an old painting done by one of our early Australian painters. I decided to paint this moment as an engagement gift for them.
